AMERICANLEGACYMAG – After two years of marriage, Jennifer Lopez or JLo officially filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on Tuesday (20/8/2024) at the Los Angeles Court.
According to Variety, Lopez and Ben Affleck, a couple with a 3-year age gap, have ended their decades-long love affair. They have been nicknamed “Bennifer.”
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck started dating while filming the romantic comedy “Gigli” in 2003. Unfortunately, even though Lopez and Affleck were engaged, they decided to postpone their wedding. In the end, they didn’t get married.
Not long after, Lopez married singer Marc Anthony in 2004. Likewise, Affleck married actress Jennifer Garner in 2005.
Unfortunately, the marriage ended in divorce. After going their separate ways, Lopez and Ben Affleck got back together in 2021.
A year later, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck married in a midnight ceremony in Las Vegas, complete with a pink Cadillac convertible on July 16, 2022.
This was followed by a celebration with family and friends in Georgia in August 2022.
